![]() I'm not sure if this is relevant to case but I'll say it anyway - the instructions on the video and other places suggest to use Telnet to mess around with the ports. This is what leads me to suspect I'm suffering from the problem other people have with these routers but the solutions haven't worked. Every other internet related thing - like Youtube, Twitchtv, etc. The last thing I can think of is to just ask about this specific router and see if something's going on. I've read that these routers tend to have this problem, but nothing I've found about it has helped. I've searched and searched but have found no solutions. I also went looking at Steam support and tried their solutions - downloading those MasterServer files, etc. I can play other games, like Guild Wars 2, Halo 4, Path of Exile, among others without problems. After that didn't work, I tried the ports for both Steam and Natural Selection 2. I watched the Killing Floor video and forwarded the ports it suggested. I've tried verifiying the cache, reinstalling, and I searched these very forums for solutions. By the time build 250 came out I could no longer play at all. ![]() Back then I could actually have some games where everything went smooth and I didn't have problems. I've had the game since December - and didn't have problems until just about the time Build 249 came out. Most of the time I simply Timeout when trying to join a server. It also occurs when I evolve as an alien. Occasionally I can enter a server, but whenever I have to spawn I get the red plug again and it takes ages to spawn. I have a Technicolor TG589vn, recently acquired, and I believe it was after I got it that I started getting connection problems with servers. ![]()
